Title: Awesome 360 CL deal I picked up. Just bragging.

Not long ago I snagged a 360 for cheap and was on the prowel for some games.
Saw an ad for two red ringed 360's hard drive, two wireless controllers, wireless bridge,
memory card and 25 games. Guy was fed up with Xbox and wanted to buy a PS3.

Rockband (whole band set), Halo 3, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Gears of war, GTA IV, basically a collection
of A and B list titles.

All for $200.

I picked it up last week and gave one of the RROD systems to my brother and it's now happily working after the X clamp mod. :)

Not bad.

Of course now I have to share the games...

You could have sent both those systems back to Microsoft most likely.  They extended the warranty on RROD systems.

I'm still playing through some of the original Xbox games.  Unfortunately I'm finding many of them are only half a game without Xbox Live.   :P

Working through Star Wars Battlefront now and I feel like I'm missing most of the game.

Never played it on Live but that one's a real blast to play on a LAN.

Actually We tried.  The newest system had it's extended waranty expire in July. So it was a no go. But it is working now. :)

Played on it for a couple of hours last night.

Games or no games...I love the streaming netflix.  I used to have to DL all my content before hand to watch on my old modded xbox original. But It is a pleasure to just turn it on and pick a movie and watch it.

Just a fun little update, we got the other 360 working last night. so I'm pretty pleased with myself. I'll probably set up the third one for my kids so I don't have to share.  :applaud:

Eventually I'll probably mod one though I don't really have a use for a modded 360. Unless it will someday be a better media center than my modded original xbox.
