I bought this game non-working and in a condition where it was dirtier than a Hollywood starlet. I did the full teardown, clean, and rebuild treatment for it, and I fixed every little issue. All that's left to do is to replace that one dirty post sleeve I missed and put on new drop target decals. All in all, it's a beauty now. Some before, during, and afters:

I saw that on your Silverball webpage. Very nice work. I am also impressed that you dont charge ungodly prices for your machines even after the restoration process. I wish we lived within a day's driving distance from each other because if that were the case, I would venture to say you and I would do business someday.
Again, very nice.

Yeah, I don't aim to make a living out of cleaning machines up, I just like to make a few dollars that I can roll into the next project. Also, I love seeing people be able to afford a solid machine that should stay clean and functional for years to come. I've sold several machines to first time owners and it's a treat to see them get so excited.

HRmm.... I've seen these pictures before.... can't put my finger on it... where have I seen these before? :lol :laugh2:
Nice job though. Not sure I would call this a restore, but definately above and beyond a good shop job.

Yeah, dumped them on RGP and CoinOpSpace too.
I'd call it restore simply because it wasn't working when I got it and it needed a whole lot more than a simple shop job to get going again. Also, there were some real Mickey Mouse things going on with it that I had to put right.

Nice. I really like Taxi. I'd love to own one someday. That might be my sweet spot for pins - deeper rulesets but preDMD and not a ton of fifty cent plastic toys on the playfield.

There is a beautiful Taxi for sale in San Antonio right now for $1000. Check Craigslist San Antonio for the pics. I just saw it and though I would mention it here. For out of town buyers I would happy to act as intermediary if you want. I will gladly give references if that sort of thing makes you nervous. I'm an attorney so I guarantee ripping you off is not worth my career.

Very nice table! One of my faves.
