The dreamcast emulator (nulldc) works well on its own, but if i try to use it in maximus it shows my gamelist, but upon execution tells me it cant find the progam/path and opens up a window for me to select the game via windows, but this only brings up a black screen.
I have it set to the loader on the path
What am I missing?

Have you tried the MA forums?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I am betting I am not the only person to have this problem, so I will post the solution I finally found.
I tried an earlier version of NullDC. I cant remember the exact version, and I don't have it handy to look now, but the version of NullDC i was having issues with in MA had a "6" in it. and I went back to a "beta" "1" something or other version and it loaded just fine in MA. Only a couple of the games didnt work anymore that were working before (Rez and Vigilante 8), which was no big loss.
So if you have the same problem, try another version of NullDC.
I also solved a very similar issue with the 3DO emulator working properly just by changing the version of it, so if anyone is having problems with that one, try that as well.

i had the same problem... but now im trying to run NAMOI games. So if anyone can get NAOMI games going also let me know

Try checking the box that sets the path to media to "long". The default is "short".

Let me know if that helps.

i havent been able to get the new release of nulldc to work either, but older versions work the same if not better.
Use Nulldc 1.0.0 beta 1.6 and these settings:

i find this version of nulldc to run faster than the new release too.

I think maximus is hard coded to work with older versions of nulldc
try launching it under another emulator. This worked for me. Some suggestoins... msx1, msx2, commodore 64, commodre 128, dosbox
just make sure you clear any command line, and change the rom extensions to match your nulldc games.

Having the same issues.
The newest version works outside of MA, but not in, so tried the older version. It seems like it'll work inside of MA, but I cant get games to run lol outside of MA.
Nvm, was a bad bios, all working now.
But yeah, moving the DC to another emulator didnt work for me either.

which emulator did you move DC to? some won't work because they have the game titles hardcoded into maximus (zinc, mame, etc..)
try dosbox
