Title: hand held atari 2600
Post by: Pipercub on July 15, 2003, 12:43:24 am
When I was 12 and trying to sneak my 2600 to school I came up with a solution. I pulled the board out of my older 2600, installed it into a Radioshack project box that also held the batteries. My screen was a pocket Sony TV (I think it was the first one, tube type) with about a 1 inch screen. This was mounted inside the case so that the joystick ports and the cartidge slot were on the front with the screen. All in all it was pretty small, and I removed the carts from their cases so I could carry more. Not bad for 1982.

But this fellow has done what I always wanted to do, check this out!
