i have a weyia 826 all is working except the brightness pot on the remote board any ideas what wrong with it
-
Is it TOO bright ?
-
yes i can only adjust it with the flyback
-
So if you turn the flyback down.... the brightness pot makes no changes still ?
(if you overdrive it with the flyback, you'll never see a change)
Is there a contrast pot ? Is it cranked up ?
Starting to sound like you have a bad pot.... just trying to verify or at least narrow it down.
-
no change at all and theres no contrast control
-
Measure the resistance on the pot itself.
1 2
3
1+2 gives overall value of the pot.
1+3 or 2+3 should vary from overall value down to zero when adjusting pot.
Best to remove the pot for testing.
-
how do i measure it
-
With a multi-meter...... Ohms.

-
i think it the chassis the pot value is fine
-
I was going to compare your readings against what it should be......
Do you have a schematic or manual for that chassis ?
-
