Title: Menu fixed, now SUPER FAST game play problem?

Thanks for all the helpful tips and advice from my last thread  (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=95488.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=95488.0) KT-2914 Menu problem)

Now I have it running smoothly with the NES emulator, but I'm having a lot of problems with the MAME32 running arcade games.

The games boot and they look beautiful and run smoothly all the way up until game play, maybe some of you have experience with this (probably something simple considering I don't have much experience with emulators) the gameplay has spurts of super speed or some sort of ultra fast forward mode if you will.... for example double dragon... menu screen loads nice, sound perfect, everything goes good until the game play starts ... next thing you know the characters start running around the screen in super fast motion. This has been happening with everything I test.

Any advice?

and a side bonus question, will these light guns work with the KT-2914  monitor? it does say that the guns work for "MAME".

Try pressing F11 (I think) and make sure MAME is not running in Throtttled mode.

thanks stephen, apparently this is the problem. The f11 key.

I have it fixed for NES, but for MAME I can't fix the problem because one of the buttons are mapped to f11 and I've figured out which it is, however in MAME32, there are no options of where to remap the keys manually in the program, I looked it up in help and it says you have to hit tab in-game, but tab does nothing.

I'm curious if there is a better arcade emulator program....


Also curious if there is a front end program that runs all the emulators seamlessly into one program????
