Title: Opinions Needed. SHMUP Marquee Design....

I'm working on the marquee design for my SHMUP project. I REALLY  dig the bottom (newer) design, but that could be since it is my newer version and I like the idea. So BYOAC, I need to gauge either designs "cool factor".

The bottom one has more harmony, more symmetry, easier on the eye and has more 'impact'.  There ya are, my two cents worth.  :)

Ya I was thinking the same, plus the crosshair in the center draws your eye to the SHMUP and makes it easier on the eye to decipher the lettering. Thanks Ond!
