Cyborg is a monster but I hope gina wins too. Gina is a very good technical fighter but cyborg is so strong.

Hell, she got a shiner that last EliteSC fight and STILL looked fine when they showed her in the crowd.

Carano can't help but be beautiful, and a very good fighter.  But at the weigh-ins, she looked more like she was at a PR event.  Cyborg looked huge and ready to go.  I like Gina, but she is going to have a tough time.  I am afraid that unfortunately The Cyborg wins and we loose some of the steam Carano has going as the face womens MMA.  If we are lucky this will lead to a Gina Carano Playboy spread.

Yeah, that's about how I expected it to go in realism land. Gina's ground game was horrible! I think the sheer explosiveness of Cyborg overwhelmed her at the beginning, and shook her confidence.

I think it was wrong for the ref to stop it with only a second left. I think she could have regrouped a bit for round 2. The outcome would have still been the same though.

The refs aren't supposed to consider the clock when making stoppage decisions.

The ref watched her take hits without defending herself for a while before deciding to stop it. I don't like the trend of refs stopping the fights so quickly, but that type of stoppage is actually pretty common these days. The refs shouldn't be watching the clock in situations like that, and he wasn't - all of his attention was on the fighters as it should have been.

Carano needs to work on her jiujitsu. She had Cyborg in full mount and let her go. She also looked like she was in the wrong weight class.
