Title: Dreamcast Controllers
Post by: Pinball Wizard on July 12, 2009, 10:55:18 am
I am not sure if this is the right section so correct me if I am wrong.

What is the best way to get a Dreamcast controller to work on a pc?

Find one of these....

Or you could try hacking the controller, but I'm not sure how you would get the analog stick to work.

You want a Trio Linker Plus.

Are either of these methods compatible with Ubuntu? It probably would be a simple HID device that is supported under PyGame drivers, but was curious if anyone had experience with it.

My friend uses a Trio Link on a Gentoo box and it works fine... so I'm guessing it will be fine in Ubuntu since Ubuntu bundles everything together as one enormous package :lol

Hmmm. I might just have found my answer to getting game controllers for most of my emulators figured out.
