Title: pSX Emulator & Ultimarc UltraStik 360
Post by: moonchilddave on July 06, 2009, 05:49:58 pm
I was looking to add a Playstation emulator on my cabinet, and decided to give pSX a try due to the recommendation of http://nonmess.retrogames.com/

I got it all set up and running and even loaded a CD image I made, and it seems to work just fine.  The only problem I have is I can't seem to get it working with my joystick and buttons.  I'm running an Ultimarc UltraStik 360 with input mode and have it wired to 6 buttons plus P1 & P2 start.

Has anyone managed to get pSX running with this setup?  Or could someone recommend another Playstation emulator that works with this stick?

I use epsxe 1.7.0 with my 2 U360's and they work like a charm, although I use a minipac for my buttons

Actually, pSX works fine.... turns out that the USB cable for my stick came loose...  :banghead:

I was about to say, pSX should work fine. I use it with my U360s and love it.

Do you have your stick set up in input mode with the buttons?  If so, how do you configure it so that a button sends the escape key to exit the emulator?  Unfortunantly you can't change the key for quit in pSX - at least from what I can tell.

I use a minipac for the buttons. Sorry.
