Well, I am going to do my best to leave this scene. I got into cabs ~ 1 year ago and I want to move on to some new projects. You can expect to see me drop by every once in a great while, but for the most part I am leaving the MAME scene. I think I can be learning some more important stuff if I get back into JAVA. My cab is just about done though, and I am growing tired of this stuff

Best farewell I ever read, sniff.
Have fun on your trip.

Cabinets are never done :) I've been in the mame scene for three years, the cabinet scene for 2 and a half. I'm still a software engineer (well, on and off right now). Just started going back to school for extra learning. I still fly R/C airplanes, take many hour long motorcycle trips, play cards once a week with friends, shoot pool once a week, and other stuff and am the number one poster here. You aren't going to go away for long :)
Actually, I plan on redoing some stuff on my cabinet in the next few weeks as I have learned more stuff and better ways to do stuff. My first and nearly free task is to redo my shelf. That should be done in a couple of weeks without plexi. Don't know where I am going to get enough plexi for free. I found.

I don't think anyone really leaves forever. Check back once in a while. Who knows where emulation will go in the next year?
Good luck on your new projects.

Ridge Racer! Ridge Racer! (At least a version that works well...)

I'll be back if something pertains to light guns

See, you are back checking already! I think someone needs some attention.
J/K See you in a few months for real though. Nobody can stay away forever! Not when people like OSCAR are here releasing Tempest knobs and such! Now, if someone could just get a nice cheap analog joystick with a super handle and super strong so I could play Sinistar the correct way, I would have everything I need. :)

Heh "...they keep pulling me back in!"

I haven't left yet... anyway no more posting for me; I am wasting all my time... don't expect to see any more posts.
Okay so maybe I havn't managed to leave for as much as a day yet...
-
LOL! Your goodbye it's like you're going to die or something! LOLOLOL
Man, that's not something you have to pick or leave at once! You can allways pass by and post in the everything else section...
Man, if you were here in Portugal i'd probably pay you a beer! ;D
You seem frustrated! Go and have fun with your cab when you have all the important life stuff done! ;)
Get a date, piss your friends off, smoke whatever you want, have a great talk you your folks and then, the little mame bug inside you starts tickeling again! 8)
Peace man! ;D
PS: Dark Funeral is great for stress ya know?

I wanna have that cool game where you stand on the skis and do simulated downhill skiing!!
Just think what it'd take to build that cab? :o
Ooh, and the one where you kick the soccer ball at it and try to beat the goalie.
-
Ooooo, I bet you can't wait to make a Boonga Boonga cab! :)

LOL, you and that damn Boonga Boonga cab ::)
Kind of makes me wonder if those wacky Japs have any log-flogging simulators, though :P
