Title: Mameroom Cab Plans - Need a hand
Post by: Endaar on May 03, 2009, 01:11:07 pm
Hi All,

I purchased the Mameroom Cabinet KIT and am in the process of putting it together. Unfortunately, I received three "F" pieces and am missing piece "H," which is the upper crossbar that the top of the rear panel screws into. I have tried for more than a week to contact Mameroom with no response, and at this point am going to try and move forward on my own. It looks to me like the only difference between piece "F" and piece "H" is the pilot holes for the rear panel screws. Could somebody with the cabinet plans please confirm that for me, and if so, give me the measurements necessary to drill the holes myself? I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks much,
Endaar

The plans show the panels and but do not give dimensions.   So if your panel is the same size (they look the same) without the pilot holes for screws go ahead and use the 3rd panel as the one you are missing.   You can use G to place the holes as it shows as the same as H.

Thanks for the help and confirmation. Guess that's the plan.

Don't know if this will help you or not, but I bought the Ultimatearcade II plans and cut everything myself.  In my plans F is the bottom of the keyboard drawer, and H is the bottom panel in the back at an angle.  So if your parts match my plans F will not be wide enough.  F is monitor shelf width - 2 and 1/4 ". H is monitor width - 1 and 1/4"
