Title: hantarex polo/2 25 15/25 auto (UK) couple of questions
Post by: wilno on April 30, 2009, 11:22:38 am
Hi

hope the pics work....

Where can I get a power plug that fits and am I right in thinking I don't need an isolation transformer.

Also the guy I bought it from was unsure whether it auto switches between 15/25, I know the pic implies auto but it also says polo/2 25
when it's a 28" screen.

Thanks in advance

Been having a good look round the back of this monitor today and noticed a green plug that is attached to the video
wires, it has an empty slot next to it. Is there any chance this isn't an auto switching monitor and is a bit of a hybrid?

It was running in a Rolling eX.tre.me cabinet which is I believe a 25khz game - sending a 15khz signal to it wouldn't
hurt it would it if the jumper is in the wrong place?

One last question if I may - do I hook the mains earth to the monitor chassis like in the picture below or does it go
in the center pin?  edit- the bottom picture is not my monitor btw.

Thanks again

Ps. How do I get rid of all the dust!

the green plug with the slot next to it is for the scan coils,if you plug into the adjacent connector you will have a reversed picture
the chassis is auto switching so don't worry about 15k and 24k
hook the chassis up like the picture you posted

use an air compressor to get rid of the dust
