I bought a Mk2 jamma board for my arcade. I connect the jamma connector to the board plug in the sound card etc I know have a hanging wire that connects no where and the lp and lk don't work. So know I have No Sound No Low Punch and No Low Kick. So how would i get this to work.

Is your JAMMA wired properly for the -5volts?
-
low punch and low kick require the kick harness. the sound board requires 2 wires, the data ribbon and the power cable.
pictures would be great

Yeah, the Mortal Kombat games technically are Jamma+, so it'll take a little effort to get the working properly in a normal Jamma cab.

This was REALLY good to know...I'm getting a UMK3 PCB this Tuesday and I was wondering if MK's used the -5v, because the last thing I want to do is damage the board because of improper wiring.
-
Just be sure your power supply has the -5v available AND is actually wired into the Jamma harness. A lot of JAMMA games don't use it, so a cheap JAMMA harness or JAMMA cabinet may not have even bothered to wire it.
Not having it wouldn't damage the board....it just won't work correctly. (missing sound, etc)
