I modified my previous post, I was incorrect I was not getting a GREED letter within the swamp, but with each new ball no matter where it lands.
So is it normal to get a new GREED letter with each new ball?
Mine does, is it supposed to?

On mine every time you start a new ball it gives you a letter in Greed. That is probably what is confusing you? I also replied to your RGP post :)

rewrote my last message just as you posted yours!
Thanks I feel MUCH better now thats its working correctly!

No problem, I thought mine was messed up too actually. But then when I read through the rules with a fine tooth comb..I found the part about getting a letter for free..for each new ball!
**edit** You can actually turn that feature off in the settings menu if you want.
Cheers!!

Whew. I was about to be pissed that the TAF I always played was malfunctioning- I've never played one with the free GREED leter on... That op makes us WORK to get into the vault ;D

Hey Tom, do you remember where in the rulesheet it said that about new balls and greed letters?

On your first multiball, the first switch you trigger each ball spots a letter. You can also gain a "cheat" GREED letter by tilting. When G-R-E-E-D is spelled, the bookcase opens and the vault is revealed.

I saw that but I got from it that this happens after you get a multiball..... but upon game start each new ball is giving a greed letter before any multiball has been triggered. Is this the same with your TAF?
btw...rephrased my question rgp to make it more clear, some people have chimed in:

No it means before you get your FIRST multiball you get a free letter on each new ball. Once you get past the first multiball it doesnt happen anymore. TRUST me. Thats the way it works..PERIOD..
-
I replied to your RGP post as well (awesomejaret) under my sons account by accident haha..anyhow..you can stop worrying now cause your machine is fine..it's supposed to be that way
-
You can make TAF as easy as hard as you want really. So I don't see it as an issue. Pretty much every setting can be increased or decreased.
-
hHAHA too funny..just play it blindfolded then if its too easy :P
-
No it means before you get your FIRST multiball you get <a onMouseOver="javascript:window.status='a free';return true;" onMouseOut="javascript:window.status='';return true;" href="http://canadasrv.info?v=1%2E2&ss=a+free">a free</a> letter on each new ball. Once you get past the first multiball it doesnt happen anymore. TRUST me. Thats the way it works..PERIOD..
Thanks Tom, I hate being paranoid about a game that was just fixed up, didn;t know if I goofed on a repair or what! Glad its working as it should...once again I feel much better ;D
Appreciate the feedback, tested and confirmed, after your first multi-ball you stop getting GRED letters on a new ball.
Thanks Again!

My pleasure, TAF was my first pin and I'm very partial to it :) Least I could do to help out the community
