I will probably reuse this artwork for the controller but get rid of Ken & Ryu from the background. And I can’t make up my mind on the controller to get HAPP or SANWA parts :dizzy: I love the way HAPP feels & I have lots of experience with HAPP parts but with SANWA they look great but I have never used them or work with there products. :P

SANWA does sound like a great Idea but I also whant to hook up my PC to it for MAME, & other emulators. I'm not using a 360, I have a PS3  ::)

Now that's exactly what I want to build thanks for the link, here is a pick of my last CP. I'm thinking of changing the shape of it and add SANWA parts if I can hook them up to an I-pac2?  If anyone else has any ideas please help  ;)

You can use either happs or sanwa with an Ipac, it doesn't matter.

Thanks for the info , now I'm definitely going with SANWA I just need to get more info on what SANWA Joysticks to get along with push buttons I have not done much research on them but I do know I'm going to have to make it a sheet metal / MDF CP. >:D

Why do you "have" to?

Because the way the SANWA push buttons are design for metal CP. unless you can put them on wood?  :dunno

From my understanding, the snap-ins (OBSF, I think?) are pretty much metal/acrylic only, but the screw-ins (OBSN) can be used on any material up to about 7mm thickness.  I'd give you an exact number, but I haven't gotten my OBSN-30's from Akihabarashop yet.

I've seen others just route the wood oversize, and use a sheet of plexi or hardboard to use snap ins. Sanwa does have a version with a nut that you can use if you don't want to bother with the fancy mounting of the snap ins.

OK thanks for the info now I just got to weight for someone to have all the parts I need in stock so I can place and order everyone seems to be sold out of parts. Meanwhile I will work on building the CP & stand & I got started in mounting in a 32" TV last night had to take the back of the TV apart & shave about 1/2" of each side of TV >:D to have a nice snug fit. Tonight I will rout out a new bezel for the 32"TV ;D to give it that authentic arcade look ::) DAM I LOVE THIS ROUTER makes life easier when building a new project.

yeah thats what I'm kinda stuck waiting on too (that and bills...). No one has happ parts right now....or at least not taking orders.

The guys at Lizard-Lick must have been swamped...because they said they'd be back up the 3rd week of April. Its the end of the 3rd week and they are still not taking orders.

Still waiting on my order from the end of February.

yep...which is why for now Im gonna use happ parts in my cab. Sucks...but I can mask the sticks at least to look like a sanwa stick.

I can always swap out the parts later on.
