Title: Which games use a Spinner?
Post by: Bill_S on June 30, 2003, 04:15:22 pm
I tore my control panel off for some upgrades last night.  I was planning to install my new oscar spinner tonight and I got to wondering (instead of working, hehe):
Just what games am I going to use this spinner for, anyway?  I recently acquired a pole position cab with a 360 wheel I'm slowly modding into a driving cab for 360 games.
I'm thinking about not installing the spinner cause it is going to make my existing control panel a little crowded.  I don't want this one upgrade to drive me into a much bigger project of building a new control panel, either.

So, besides Tempest, Arkanoid and 360 wheel driving games, what other games use a spinner?

Bill,
Your right.
I'll take that spinner off your hands for cheap before you waste your time and money.

OK - I'm home from work now so I can check myself.

Thanks for the help there guys.

It's not a DOT spinner, btw.  I think it's a model 3.

The way I'll be play Discs of Tron is with a regular spinner and the Sidewinder analog stick on the othe hand.  It has enough button up top to control fire, defelction and aim-up or down.  You could play that way with a similar stick (if digital, better).
