Title: Help with EM pin repair
Post by: SirPeale on March 23, 2009, 07:12:10 pm
Client has a Gottlieb Four Square with the 50 point relay stuck.

I've never worked on a pin of this vintage, so I'm not sure what to expect.  Since this pin is about 100 miles away I would like to be prepared.

Probably a rollover switch or standup target switch stuck shut on the playfield.

Okay, that's good.  Nothing I need to replace the relay on?

The switches on the relay might be pitted or stuck closed requiring filing and adjusting. However, I'd be more inclined to feel you have a stuck switch on the playfield.
