Title: Correct way to replace bridge rectifier???

I am in the process of trying to get a 1978 Williams Phoenix Pin up and running again. I was replacing all the fuses and noticed that Bridge Rectifier 6BR2 has corrosion on it from a previous battery explosion. So I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry and replace both the bridge rectifiers, the only issue is the replacement rectifiers I am finding online do not look the same as the old ones. I realize that their is a 30 year difference in production so the designs could have changed, but I do not want to install it wrong and cause more problems.

As you can see in the picture the old rectifier has one connector on each side and is clearly marked positive (+) and negative (-).

But the new rectifier appears to have two connectors on the same side, how do I know which one to connect my leads to???

The new bridge should have + and - marked on it.  These will be connectors at opposite corners. (see data sheet)  The other 2 unmarked connectors are the AC input.   The old bridge has the connectors at each side rather than the new corner configuration and that is why they look different.    Just make sure  the + and - go to the correct wires and the AC will take care of itself.

It looks like your picture has the  "-" marking right next to the "0415" numbers.
