Why would dell sell a touchscreen that when you get it its not really a touchscreen it looks like a touchscreen and you can see were you could put a usb would go but no ports thier covered up do i have to make it a touchscreen i dont understand please help

It says touchscreen ready so they probably sell you the kit to make it a touchscreen and charge you again so your total cost will probably double.

Notice how nowhere in the description or specifications does it ever mention touchscreen. ;)

Look around you can probably get a 17 inch touchscreen for less then they want for the 17inch wo touch.
Try ebay.

Yeah i was looking on eBay and thought i seen some good deals but what is a good deal on a couple posts some members said they go a touchscreen for under $200.00 dollar that's what I'm talking about.Well I'll keep looking and wait for a deal i guess.

Not sure on a 17", but we have gotten them in the 15" size regularly around here for under $100. I was able to score TWO working elo 15" SAW monitors for under $50 total! (but I got real lucky too)

On e-bay man thats a good deal!!!!!!! i guess i'll have to just keep looking for under $100 bucks i'll buy three.Man i payed :angry: $400 for my last one.
