Title: Sega STV Cabinet Coin Acceptors?
Post by: srarcade on March 03, 2009, 09:08:39 am
Hey guys, I picked up one of these cabs:

And the coin acceptors on the control panel are pretty mangled, anyone know a place that sells these?

Thanks!

Yes not many good pics out there of it, camera dead at the moment so cant show mine- heres another one. Each acceptor, one on left and right in center of the control panel, is a fully molded piece that houses a typical coin acceptor found in any old coin door:

And this one is about the state mine is in, the reject buttons are entirely missing. Im thinking if I can't find replacements, I'll just cover the area with sheet metal pieces using the the same bolts and install a coin door below but its a plastic molded cab so it will be a mess.

Holy cow Ken you are the man! Happ is the *last* place I would ever have looked for this item, I figured it to be an oddity.

Thanks!

Those coin entries (top coin entry) are common on gambling machines, especially video pokers and 8 liners.
