NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE ! ! ! :o :o :o :o :o
Man now I gotta build one of these too...maybe in the future ! :D

Oh, man.. and I thought tbbk's array of framless PC monitors was bad.. that's just insane :o

I can't believe that works! matrox g450 is a good card, but I don't think it's fast enough for that. I've seen 450 run quake2 dual head. Though it is multiple computers doing this, still...

Oh my god!
You know for the money spent on that he could have put a pretty decent down payment on a real plane!
I guess he could recoup some of the cost training Al Queada pilots.

I've been lucky enough to spend several hours inside of an MD-80 Flight Simulator down at American Airlines flight training center outside of Dallas.
Let me tell you something, that looks cool what the guy is doing, but without the full-motion of the simulator, its a complete waste of time...unless he's slapping hydraulics underneath that rig, pfeh..he's just an amateur!
;D ;D

DAMN...CRAZY MOTHER HUBBARD!!

Haha that is great!
And this is just off the top of my head, but I'm assuming this is how it works (since theres a computer for every 1 or 2 monitors):
There's a main server that controls the main simulation of the game, which then sends the coordinates to each of the other systems in which they render the environment. That way they only need "normal" videos cards for each system. This is only my assumption! (But one of the guys *did* mention that all the systems were networked). If I had the money (oh.. i wish ;D) I would invest in a pricey projector, and a nice curved projector screen (like in iMax theatres). That way it would be a nice smoooth curve, and seemless (there are like 2" gaps inbetween each of those monitors!).
I'm not critisizing! That's one hell of a set-up. I sure wish I had something like that ;D

It looks like an Elvis tv wall. Gawd
