Has anyone used this monitor or Betson monitors? How are they? I'm looking at this one here:

That's a Kortek KT-2914F or KT-2914DF (depending on what they have in stock at the time). It's a fine monitor, but some people have issues with it "squishing" the sides of the picture on standard res. Seems to be worse on the DF (totally flat tube) than the F (mostly flat tube) version. Some settings tweaking can make it better, but it does not eliminate the problem entirely.
That monitor will do CGA (standard res) to SVGA (800x600) autoranging, so no settings to change when you change resolutions. It only remembers one geometry setting for each major mode (CGA, EGA, VGA, SVGA) which seems to annoy people using it for MAME, but that's perfectly fine for just using it on a cabinet running one game.
I have one of the older "F" models. Works great. Mine doesn't squish very badly at all: you can barely see it on a grid pattern, and it's not noticeable during horizontal scrolling. I know a few people with the "DF" version, but they run them at VGA. Looks simply stunning at VGA.

In addition to the squishing, mine died with the 'turn signal clicking' several others have experienced after only 2 years of use.
