OK...I've had a WG D9200 for about 3 Months now with not problems what so ever........until now.
Every time I turn the power to the monitor on..it's hella Red. I have to go into the menu and adjust the RGB so it looks like it should. Once adjusted it works like a champ, until I shut down my pc...then it goes back to the hella red mode, and I have to adjust it again when I want to play anything. It seems for some reason, the hella red mode is now default, when it originally wasn't.
I'm running win XP with a Radeon 7500 all in wonder. I've got an XP2200 on an ECS board with 512 MB of Ram and an 80 Gig WD hard drive and a SB Live! Digital card. I'm also using an I-pac.
Anybody out there heard of this problem? I wanted to run it by the gurus before I engage WG...

Not an expert, but isn't there an option in the on-screen menu for the D9200 to either set the current settings as the new default and/or reset the default back to the factory defaults? Doesn't exactly sound like a monitor issue since you can get it to look correct. If you can set the current settings as the new defaults, just fix it and do that? Sounds like a basic idea which you probably tired already, forgive me if I am telling you something you already know.
Good luck.

If it is really red it sounds like a bad pin. But if you can adjust it so it looks right it must not be. Your settings should stay if you leave the monitor on all the time. You can still power off the computer but leave the monitor powered on. Other option is if your running the Radeon 7500 and have the ATI control panel installed I believe you can adjust the RGB levels in there.
