Title: Oh noes. Extra parts?
Post by: Boz on January 20, 2009, 11:45:39 pm
I recently bought new plastic for my Williams High Speed, but it came with three (!) helicopters, each of which are slightly different. I can't find a single picture where there is more than one helicopter installed on the playfield.

This is driving me crazy.

Did you examine all of these pictures? One may hold your answer.

With a magnifying lense. I'm almost ready to say that CPR cut them because they had extra stock.

Huh? Almost all those pictures you can zoom in on even after you click on them. Maybe you need glasses mate?  8)

Did I miss something? The flyer images show only a single helicopter mounted. Where do the other two go? I don't see it.

I think VQ needs his glasses checked.  I only see one, even with using the ZOOM button.

I never stated that I saw more than one...  ??? I guess I may have miss read thinking that he said he could not see the pictures correctly. If so, sorry about that.

Boz, quit being a spaz.

Please.

It's part of my charm. Really. Eventually it will grow on you.  :)

Seriously, everyone has their one thing that they're obsessive over. This is mine.

Do you know if the other two helicopters are supposed to be on the playfield?

You only obsessive over "one thing"? Lucky you...

Honestly if they are not on the flyer I doubt they are suppose to be there at least in a OEM fashion. Maybe throw a post up over on RPG and see what happens?

Flyers don't always show final production machines. I'd rely on photos of other existing machines and other collectors.

That can just as easily be said about person photos. People swap out parts all of time, I have make multiple changes to my pin already and I have had it less than 2 months!

F'it! Maybe I'll just mount the one where it's supposed to go and save the others.
