Hi, I have a Sharp Image 25" Monitor.
I moved it next to one of my surround sound speakers (about a 3 foot move) and now everything on the screen has a red tint.
Any ideas why?
I'm not sure what model the monitor is, but if you have any idea where to find the number I'd happily look. I can take a picture later to help, but you can't really see that much with it in the cabinet.
I'm not really sure if I just need to degauss it, or if I need a cap kit. Any help would be appreciated.

yeah sounds like gaussing, maybe leave it for 6 hours or so and see if it degausses ok-otherwise move it away from any speakers
other problem could be a bad connection causing the red to go high,a photo would prove that though

The speaker was the problem.
I tried moving it before, just not long enough.
WOrks fine now thanks!
