Got this monitor with another game. It had vertical collapse, so I installed a cap kit. Now there is no glow in the neck and nothing happening on the screen. Is there a flow chart for this monitor? Thanks for all of the help... I love this site!

Here's one version of the service manual:

I put my DMM on the white wire that goes into the covered joint on the neck board. When the monitor is turned on, the voltage climbs to about 200 DCV then returns to zero. I noticed this happened on a Pacman G07 monitor and I believe it was a horizontal cap. I have replaced all of the caps from a Bob kit, so I assume it has to be something in the Horizontal drive. There is no voltage going to the front right side of the board, so I will try to trace back to the culprit. I do have some questions:
1) How do I test a transistor?
2) Is there a way to test the flyback? There is no static charge on the monitor.
3) Is there a cross reference for substituting transistors.
Thanks for the help. These video games are interesting to me, as I have been a pinball guy for 30 years.

Double check all your work. Make sure you didn't bridge two solder points, and that all your joints are solid. And of course that all your caps are in the right way.
Since it was "working" before, and now it's not, likely there is a flaw in your work. No offense.

Remember to plug the yoke back in?
