Title: zune y2k9 bug

anyone having problems with there Zune 30GB  :censored:
my wife's froze last night  :cry:

Did you read any of the replies?  There's talk of this being something to do with this being a leap year and the fact that the failure happened when the year normally would have switched if it weren't and switching the date has been used to fix the problem.

I have a 30GB Zune at home.  I haven't turned it on in a few days, I'll give it a try when I get home from work to see if I am one of the lucky ones.

Either way it sounds like it should fix itself once the calendar roles to 1/1/2009.

you can't switch the date it won't reset or unfreeze. the computer don't recognise it either. some people took it apart to take the battry out and that helped
