I have a mame .69 version that I edited the source for, now it's how I want it to be.
I just can't compile it properly...
if anyone wants to help me out and compile it for me
or give me soem detailed instructions as to how this can be done, it'd be great help!
THANKS =)

Probably shouldn't be trying to help you out as your weren't extactly polite last time, but what the hell. ::)
For detailed instructions follow the steps on this page http://www.mame.net/compilewin.html (http://www.mame.net/compilewin.html)
Only other things you need to add in are the DX7 and GCC 3.2.2 stuff, these can be found on this page with info on what to do with them http://www.mame.net/downmain.html (http://www.mame.net/downmain.html)
I went through this process just a few nights ago to compile a new version and it all worked fine. Also in future if your having problems it might be worth post the actual error your getting.

THANKS:) I just got it to work. If it wasn't for everyone on this board I wouldn't have been able to do it :)
