wow. So i wonder how many games total, that a system like that could playing if all the emulators were maxed out with full rom sets?
I mean, there's approximately 6000 odd games in MAME, about 11,000 for DOS, how many thousands of NES/SNES, C64, etc.. are we up to 250,000?
My goal for retirement, provided the economy can stabilize, is that ---my bottom--- is sitting on the couch and I'm doing nothing but playing video games, and I'd always thought it would be interesting to see if I could play on time, every game that has ever been released. Not start-->Finish, as some adventure type games would take weeks, but just a single "play til I die" game. How many years would that take?
(sorry about the thead hijack)

In fact it depends if you want play distinct game or all the version of a game.
Take for instance Pacman arcade. It has been ported on almost all plateforms...
Most of Arcades games have been ported on other plateforms..
Like that you could reduce the number! ;D

excellent work Youki. This is a very nice interface and youve done a fine job.
-
Thanks.
For the interface it is me. But for the Emulators configurations and the packs it is not me. All merit comes to ladite!

just a reminder that copyrighted files cannot be distributed by you unless you have permission youki. And if you are doing so, we'll have to remove your links. To avoid this, people must acquire them by their own means in order to conform to our "no illegal files or links" policies. Again, just a reminder at this stage.

Ladite is removing BIOS , tonight the distribution should be clean.
He was not aware that BIOS could cause problems. I had asked him to not put Roms but he thought i was talking only about game.
And i had not checked the content. (sorry...)
He is correcting.

The distribution has been temporaly removed.
The download will be available back in few hours .
Just the time to remove "illegal" content.
-
hopefully it comes up soon so that I may try it. In the mean time if anyone else downloaded the other version, shoot me a message so maybe I can get it that way... thanks!

The version should be online again tomorrow morning, Ladite is uploading it back this night.
Looks like a very nice setup.
Thanks :D therefore All merits comes to Ladite.

I find this puzzling that copyright policies would be enforced on Youki, when they are clearly not enforced on Headkaze, with his CPWizard application where he continues to distribute my artwork.
I guess the policy only applies if someone may actually have a law firm to back them up...other wise its null and void.
Clearly its okay to steal and to seek profit here, as long as the assets are from other forum members.
That's not only here. On others forums also, it seems Copyright policies only apply to "roms" , but when it is Artwork or document or else... it is not a problem. Don't know why.
Anyway , i understand NIVO concern . I don't want cause problem even if i disagree on certain points.
Thus, I don't whish this post be transformed in a debate about copyright.

Agreed, the bios was the problem, just make sure anything like that is removed for future reference. If you do not own said systems/consoles it is deemed illegal to distribute these types of files(just like roms) as this policy is in place here to protect this site first and foremost. As to other posts into this thread, they will be removed if they are not on topic pertaining to Atomic FE(we take it here as thread crapping). Policies dont change pertaining to individuals here, no matter what some people may think. We do our best to ensure the community has a smooth ride here and take action when necessary and for the most part stay in the background and let the community enjoy entertaining and lively discussions. We will continue to do so. Stay and enjoy the wealth of info here. And please, STAY On Topic. Thank You.

The Distribution is back on line!!
Without Bios now.

Just saw this post and am interested, but have a question- Does this need a BIOS to use or are you talking about console system BIOS files?
If the latter, what console system emulators need BIOS files for this to work?
Thanks.
-
I'm talking about console (and Computer) system BIOS files.
Here you have the list of BIOS files you need (and where to put it in the Ultimate distribution)
BIOS List (http://www.atomicfe.com/ladite/download/Liste%20BIOS.txt)
Does it answer your question?

Yes, thanks.
Wow! That's a huge list of BIOS files needed. It would take forever to track down all of them. :(

You just need BIOS for machine your are interrested in.
You don't need to have all BIOS to use the distribution.
