Title: Considering New Project: Avatarcade
Post by: jeffremiller on November 04, 2008, 10:17:10 am
I recently came into some interesting pieces of hardware and decided it was time to start my 4 player cabinet.

What about an Avatar: The last Airbender theme?

Anyone snagged that idea?  And if so, is there room for two?

Was considering a CP devided into different color zones representing Earth, Air, Fire & Water and a representative character in each.

Sounds good, just don't call it Avatarcade...

There are too many <blah blah blah> - cade machines here... lol.  Just my $.02.

Interesting to be sure.

Would be cool if you could have "transitional" translucent buttons (buttons that gradually change intensity at random intervals) to reflect the water reflections as well as the flickering of a fire.

Does LED Blinky support something like this?

You can do color transitions (fades from one color to another) with the LEDBlinky animation editor. But there's no random option.

You could program a load of transitions and then randomly compile them into one long sequence.
