I posted this as news on the front page but nobody's approved it, so geez... I'll post here:

New circuit board and "dial" replacement for Omega Race spinners:

The guy who designed and built that is a real smart cookie, and super nice guy too. He frequents www.cgcc.ca rather than here. This new board eliminates a problem all Omega Race spinners have: a gap in input! That causes a small pause in the ship rotation, when the potentiometer crosses the little gap from one extreme of the "signal" to the other. His new board makes it seamless.

I just thought I'd help him spread the word of his new gapless solution!
