Went to get 1 1/8" bit which was 16$, so instead I got the whole set. Item number 14714, can't find on the site. Came to less than 20$ for 16 bits.
Bit further reduced in price to 12$. Great deal for a buck a bit.

Stopped by Lowes today for some ideas on my rotating monitor and picked up a set myself. There were 2 left and on clearance. Wish I had the extra cash for both but at least I picked up one.
Thanks!!!

no problem. I wanted 1 bit, got a set for about the same price. Always looking for a good excuse to buy more tools

Picked up mine today. I have some duplicates now, but that's ok.

NICE! Thanks for the heads up. I picked up the last 16 pc set @ Bedford, OH. There were still 2 smaller sets for $10.

Thanks for the headsup... picked up the last one at my local Lowes, it was 45$ reduced to 18$, they also had smaller kits that were 20$ reduced to 13$, both made by Task Force in a orange hard case.
There is 10% off coupons floating around the internet as well.

I found it yesterday... scanning at a price checker had it still over $30. :(

My Lowes was out, but I did get this set for $13

Wonder if they price match other Lowes? if so I could get you a receipt scan. i thinks I still have my original receipt.

Ugh, I wouldn't go with Black and Decker... :-\

It's no worse than the original item in question, which is Kobalt, IIRC...
-
Well if its only for one or a few times use around the house then it should be okay.

I just happened by the the bits area at lowes in Roeland Park, Kansas a couple of days ago and they had at least 4 of these 16 piece forstner bit sets left marked down to $17.99. The smaller seven piece set is marked down to $7.99 but only goes up to one inch.
I know that these aren't the best quality by far, but all I will need this for is maybe 2-3 control panels and other "general" household stuff.
