Hi all,
Anyone have plans/drawings for a pinball machine (from scratch)?
The idea is to power the unit with 2 large screen monitors (and VisualPinball/FuturePinball of course)
Need some help with the cabinet ideas/plans...so far, internet searches have come up with little.
Any pointers would be great. :)

Shouldn't be hard...basically it's two boxes. Bottom one slopes.

Just bumping this post. I'm interested also.

I recently rebuilt 2 pinball cabinets (1 Williams, 1 Gottlieb) - the person that I got them from left them outside for years and they were falling apart. But there was enough there that I was able to construct entirely new cabinets. In the process, I developed a lot of templates and guides. I also wrote a lot of stuff down - I do have all of the information, but it's not in an easy and convenient internet format.
The only thing that I get suspicious about, is the patent/copyright. I know all the manufacturers made their cabinets slightly different to avoid this. Now if the document was "for reference only" and I made no guarantee about it's accuracy - maybe intended for pinball owners that wanted to replace specific parts.
I might be persuaded to post this info if there is enough demand - or if there is someone who's skilled at autocad and promises to take my notes and turn it into a true plan.

if you send me the plans, I would be willing to draft them up for everyone...
thanx

If anyone is near southern WI, I have a fire damaged LOTR cabinet that can be used to create templates, or for that matter, just sanded down and painted

How badly damaged? Are you looking to sell it (what is left)? Lemme know some more if you would.

Backbox and main cabinet, legs, glass (unless I manage to break it before I'm done transplanting parts ;D
I bought a NOS cabinet off a guy in IL and have been slowly cleaning and rebuilding the guts and transferring them to that.

Not really looking to sell, I was actually planning on tossing it when I'm done so if someone wants to come get it then, I'd be fine with handing it over.

yes reduce the overall width to 22" external (20.5" internal) for a std pin cab.
