Hello everyone, I am new to the board, but am deep into my first arcade project. Partially at the behest of others, and mainly from a deep insatiable lust to display what is done so far to like-minded individuals, I am belatedly announcing Little Arcadia. The main cab structure is built, sanded, and painted. The CP is mounted drilled, and partially assembled. I will be wiring like a mad man later this afternoon, and finishing up the little details (power switch, drawer handles, speakers, etc). This project has been somewhat rushed, as summer classes consumed my whole summer, and I only had three weeks time at home to get the project done. I have about a week and a half to finish before returning to school for the fall semester (and leaving my cab with my parents :( ). It's nothing very impressive compared to what I've seen on this site, but I've learned a bunch from the mistakes I've made thus far, and sincerely look forward to building another cab (eventually). Anyways, here's a few pictures scattered throughout the development.

Looking good!

Take it with you! Put it in your dorm room (I'm guessing you're heading off to college?)... of course, it could attract the wrong element (as in, not girls).

Come on now, all the ladies would love the arcade machine! I'm sure it would go over very well at a party, but I'd be terrified of my drunken friends spilling liquor or something on it.
UPDATE:
Wiring is finished, now only plexiglass mounting and computer installation sits between me and a (basically) finished arcade cabinet. I'm gonna put up a temp marquee for now until I can get to a print shop to get some decent artwork made up.
I'll post more pics when I'm finished working tonight.
