Hi guys, I'm the new member from germany!
I allready wrote to neilyboy & ataritoobin for support (Thanx!), but my problem is still unsolved...
I own a 1981 German Version Donkey Kong Arcade. To point out the difference, here's a picture:
It's the mashine on the right, not the Pong ;)
The Arcade on the picture is not mine (I have the same), but this one has Side Arts!
Has anyone got a clue where to find these Side Arts ???
Maybe someone has the same Arcade?
As you can see, the Side Arts are totaly different from the US version...
I would be happy for the smallest hint :notworthy:

Here is another picture for reference that online kong had sent to me. You can see the side-art a bit better. Hopefully someone can help him out. I myself did not even know a german version existed. From what I dug up the actual cab looks to be made in holland.. Good luck finding the artwork man it looks to be cool art.

Hi guys,
just to let you know what's going on:
I received a hint from a german forum (board) about where to find the same arcade like I own.
http://retrogames.info/arcade/show/443 (http://retrogames.info/arcade/show/443)
It's a german club and they own several arcades.
I wrote to them and we will see what will be...
If you want to have a look at all the arcades they own: http://retrogames.info/arcade (http://retrogames.info/arcade)
But it's in german... :-[
So you see, not only "Neu Schwanstein" is worth a trip to germany ! ;D

Hi there community,
I just wanted to let you know, that I closed the case of my German Donkey Kong.
I got hands on a second Machine which still had the side arts on it.
I added some pictures, so you can see what I was looking for...
Like I wrote earlier, since Nintendo didn't produce Arcades in Germany at that time,
several German company's bought the rights for producing their own machines.
Mine is a 1981 version, made from a Radar Scope machine, like all first DK's.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them!
