Title: What software can I use to design and model my cabinet
Post by: Jack Burton on August 04, 2008, 11:58:35 am
What kind of software should I use to design my cab?

At first I just want to do simple 2d schematics of each part and it's measurements, but after that I would like to try to model the cab in 3d.  What are some simple, free programs for doing these things?

I was going to say 3D max, but sketchup wins in 'easyness'.
Here a render from my MK cabinet that I made in 3D max + Vray.

cheers!
