You should use sig2dat and post a link on Peter's site to get them.
My personal collection of mpegs of more modern games (which I've arranged to send to peter) hasn't been added yet so you'll have to remake that zip. :)
Also bittorrent is a pos... I rarely ever say that about any software as that's just bashing my own peers, but turst me it's a pos. There is a 50/50 shot that the people wanting to get your files will actually be able to download them if the bittorrent protocol is used.
I suggest you look for another method. I told peter to look into aj's pinmame site. The way they have things setup is very nice and as it uses good ole php and cookies, everyone can enjoy the service.
Kazaa, on the other hand, is a good idea as it spreads files quite nicely and is based on the popular morpheus ptp network, which isn't going away anytime soon.
...i've taken the liberty of downloading them all and putting them into a single zip file for redistribution over Kazaa (Peter is okay with this). So, if you want to get these videos, please get them off Kazaa and not directly from Peter since the 3Darcade site has very limited bandwidth.
It's just crappified. Copy the shortcut, and remove the http://" and the " at the end. Should do the trick, though I know nothing about what Sig2Dat is, I certainly know that there shouldn't be two protocol specifiers in ANY URL :)
If one of you BitTorrent fans wants to create a Torrent, that's fine with me. Just gimme an FTP that i can upload to and i'll send you the file. As i said, i can't use BitTorrent myself because of the ports it uses (though i'm dumping my DSL for Cable next week, so i might be able to host a Torrent then). However; like i said before, i've heard nothing but bad things about BitTorrent. Most of the people i know who use it get ~5K download speeds regardless of their connection speed.
According to the help file in Sig2Dat, this is the way that the link is supposed to be formatted. In fact, i created it using Sig2Dat tools. Not sure why it doesn't "just work" but you're right about it working if you remove the unnecessary portions.

*** Stupid Question Alert!! ***Umm, what do I do with these with Lazarus? ???
I have the videos in the download section of my site.
http://darrensweb.org (http://darrensweb.org)
Let me know if there are any that I don't have
I put it in two sections: One big file and all the files one by one.
Just another mention.
There is a gnutella client that's an dll form. If you really wanted a good way to move files.... If it was easy (haven't played with it myself) it would be kinda cool to have a P2P network with everyone else using the frontend.
I don't know about adding direct rom support. But screenshots, marquees, models, movies, ect would be really really cool.... And maybe with a super secret password you could setup rom support also.
I always thought P2P in a frontend would be great for P2p... but with the new mp3 p2p laws going in... we might see...well...this going away...
Also respectfully emutron is the most complicated fe out there. :)
