To all the folks with plexi over their control panels WITHOUT carriage bolts:
How does the plexi stays put?
Sure, the buttons play a large part in holding it together but what about the edges?
Thanks

If it is too thin, the plexi will grow under use as it heats up. This will mostly affect the edges. So use 3-4mm at least. But to keep the edges from bending up I guess you will always need some glue or screws. Maybe you can make tiny slots and metal clamps to keep the surface clean.

My plexi is just held down by the buttons and it aint going anywhere. I've had a whole mess of kids, my brother, wife, and me beating the heck out of it all weekend and it stayed put.
However, I do plan on putting some "L" shaped plastic on the front of the plexi, just because it's a little sharp on the edge.

I might have. I did see it somewhere else. It's only temporary until I design a more premament cpo. But it does look bad-ass!

Yeah, I just re-did mine. but kept the poster in there because I like it so much. You're the second person I've seen with it since I did mine (though the other person used it as a marquee)

The buttons are holding mine on. It's not going anywhere. Also, the t-molding helps as well along the edges.
