In my years of running this list I've seen some big items go through... but yesterday someone gave away a fully functional 27' aboveground pool, with wooden deck, and a brand new liner. Geeeeeeeeez.
-
You almost have to give that away. The deck sounds like that could be a deal, but the whole project is expensive and can be a huge headache.
-
I've seen other pools given away but they were always for scrap... this is the first one that was still up and going, filter, new liner, and all. I'd have been tempted if my yard were a little more level.
-
I had a 42' long working above-ground with an aluminum deck that I couldn't get rid of. It's hard to tempt someone when they see that it takes up the entire backyard.
-
Ooh, yeah, the spot where I could put one has pine trees. It would be needle soup all the time.

I dunno... Its a bit more to put in the back of the truck than a sheet of MDF...

BTW, I missed the loading MDF reference and have noticed it in a few other threads. Whats the deal?
-
Y'know, I don't even remember anymore. Its one of those jokes thats passed into the annals of history.

Shrink wrapped, ready for pickup!
Tire from Kevin Harvick's car (Busch Series).
It was given to my husband by a family member who was in the right place at
the right time.
Please respond with pickup plans for consideration. Thank you.
-
Judging by the fact that it is 'shrink wrapped', I think someone is using your site to sell things. Maybe I'm wrong, but I fully expect anyone responding to that ad will get greeted with a price.

Could be, I took shrink wrapped to mean that it was covered to avoid getting black crud all over everything in transport. Hard to say from that description alone. Fortunately it's not my list - that is a neighboring list. :)

Either a scam or someone's giving away a collector's item and someone else is going to make money.

Dude!
[FreecycleAttleboro] OFFER: Hollerith Punched Card Reader, Circa 1966

the early 1970s. Runs but needs some work (a rubber roller needs to be
replaced). Included is a good size stack of the actual punched cards
used with this machine. Unit has rolling casters. We need to get this
out of the house ASAP as house has just been listed and is being shown.
Unit is very large and heavy. Approximately the size of a stove or
