Title: Dragon's Lair enhanced 2.1 - configuration question

Hello True Believers-

I like the drawbridge scene in Dragon's Lair 2.1 but whenever I launch this version it takes over 30 seconds to get to the credit entry screen.  First there is a long black-screen pause..probably at least 20 seconds followed by a series of diagnostic checks I guess is what it is.

I read the readme file and it mentions "Turning A3 = on" for normal mode and another setting for diagnostics but I don't see where to set these in the Daphne configuration screens.  Can someone help me out?

I'm pretty sure that's normal.  In fact, on my version the attract starts to play, then beeps, and then starts over again.  From that point on it seems normal though.

what version of daphne are yous using, when i try run anything it asks for cd?

That's because you don't have the un-encoded files. Read the Daphne forum for info on this.


Tx: try changing the 'rom checks' and other stuff from within the configuration menu of the game.
