Title: Whats the cheapest way to get a 9"-12" monitor
Post by: Hoagie_one on June 03, 2003, 01:14:59 pm: looking for a small one and dont want to spend phat cash. Should i just use a small tv set or could i get a computer monitor that small for a good price.

suggestions wanted.

I know I've got an old 15incher im using in my mame cab, a lil small... but it wont cost me anything...can always be upgraded later anyway...i've also seen a couple 10 inchers on ebay from time to time pretty damn cheap...

Every once and a while someone overbids to the $25 range. If you put a max bid on one for $15.5x, you should be fine. If you get outbid, just go for another one.
Shipping was $15 (seems a bit high to me)

I've seen one or two go for $10 from some other sellers, but they were charging $20/$25 for shipping. And they were untested, sold-as-is.

I was going to make a mini-vertical bartop, but lost interest. Though, it did look kinda cool playing pacman and donkey kong with it filling up the screen.
