I picked it up at walmart on clearance for $10 back in 2002 or 2003, I cannot believe how much this book is worth used, books are suppose to depreciate in value, not appreciate :dizzy:
anywho, the book is pretty good, just wondering if anyone else picked it up, I would never sell it

I've got it. Not nearly as good as the Ultimate History of Video Games. I think I have Arcade Fever as well that I need to finish.

I have it as well (the first edition). It's great for looking through (there are some great photos) but not so much reading. It seems to be all over the place instead of spending time on the history of video gaming. For the real, in-depth story, The Ultimate History of Video Games is great (as 2600 pointed out).
Oh and my copy of High Score is falling apart from opening too much. Not the sturdiest binding...
I also have Arcade Fever which is also fun to browse through.

IIRC, Retroblast did a review of it.

Tell that to my parents who run an antique bookstore ;D

Yep ... beautiful book with lots of screenshots taken in MAME. Some of the articles are really good, but many are fluff. Not much new or revolutionary in there, but it is really beautiful and has some nice shots of vintage cabs (although they mostly come from flyers or KLOV).
