Just saw a thing on Larry King about a supposed video capture of an actual alien looking in the window of Stan Romanek's house.
It was shot 5 years ago and is now coming to light. The delay is claimed to be the result of the footage being scrutinized by scientists before having it go public.
Only one still frame was allowed to be broadcast. The "scientists" are still keeping the rest under wraps, but there was a media showing of the full video.
I can't help but wonder why a creature capable of inter-stellar travel needs to physically poke his nose up against a window to monitor the inhabitants.
Anyone else see this or have any thoughts on it?

Saw an article about it. Rolled my eyes and moved on.
Has the one frame been released yet?

Some modern windows have a UV coating. The UV coating probably behaves like aluminum foil against alien scanning devices.

That's Bob and he lives about four houses down on my street.

who is stan romanek? is he world famous in the US? one wonders why an alien would choose him over say, the dalai lama, or pauly shore...

After being underwhelmed (you nailed it), I'd love to see the video. If it's just a camera pointed at a window, then I'm thinking, "Who just points a camera at a window for no reason and happens to capture a video of an alien?" Particular if the camera never moves.
That picture is just lame. :lame:

The picture just makes me think of this alien prank gone wrong video:

The story is that he thought he had peeping toms looking in on his daughters room so thats why he setup the video camera
The video is real in the sense that no CGI was used but that just leaves puppetry and costumes and i think it's full of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- them saying it cost $50,000 for puppetry of that caliber a DIY-er could do it for way less as the only thing that happens is the alien blinks they could just have someone on a ladder moving his head up and down as it's said all the alien is doing is popping his head up and down looking in the window
I could easily make a eyelid blink for cheap that looked natural you could use fancy electronics but it can be done for alot better and more fluid movement using a series of pullies etc
Still id love to see the video just to see what it's like
This is a pretty good alien video :) (no it's not a rickroll :P)

It has to be a fake, everyone knows that aliens don't have eyelids.

He can travel hundreds of thousands, probably millions of lightyears. He can fly his alien space ship to the Earth's surface, completely undetected by the militaries of the world. He can land his space ship silently, without leaving a trace of scorched ground or anything like that.
And then he gets out of his space ship and goes and stands on his tippy toes to peak through some nobody's window in the middle of Nebraska.
Then he gets back in his space ship and ---smurfing--- flies home. He drove trillions upon trillions upon trillions of miles, to peak in this guy's window, then he said, "That should do 'er . . . ." and he packed up and left. So asinine. Embarrassing that it's even getting news coverage.
