Title: how do I downgrade nbajamte 3.0 to 1.0 ?

I mean I know I need to replace the data roms on the main board, question is how do I get a set of 1.0 chips (and maybe even 2.0 chips) . I wanna play with the hidden Mortal Kombat characters  :hissy:


Anyone burn roms (no , not to CD) can help me out? as far as I know its 100% legal to downgrade the data roms.

You'll need to get yourself a rom-burning device and some blank ROMs.  (Though I think you could probably just burn them over the existing data).  Then you just interface the device with your computer, take the 1.0 ROMs and burn them onto the blank (or 3.0) ROMs that you already have.

know anyone with that gear? seems a bit excessive to buy all that for a one time thing. I dont expect it done for free of course.

you don't have any1 in your local area that does arcade boardwork? If push came to shove I know someone here. I could see how much he would charge. Or I could PM his number to you. Let me know

I live in Delaware, we don't have jack around. The only remotely local arcade guy Ive dealt with doesn't have a rom burner.
please do get a quote from your friend for both a jam TE 1.0 and jam TE 2.0 rom set; I only need the roms that are different from the 3.0 set (since thats the set I have). Im sure shipping wont be much (19713)

shibby. I just paid him $35 to get all 3 other version of Jam TE, figured why spend 25 on 2 sets if I can spend 35 for all 3 other sets
