Title: Quick question about doubled image on RGB monitor
Post by: billpa on April 11, 2008, 01:24:00 pm
I just got my VGA to 5 BNC (RBG and VH hold). Im at work so I hooked up one of my Macs to the monitor and set the resolution to 640x480. Im getting a double image. I believe i need to set a custom resolution to interlaced and that will fix it, right? Just wanted to confirm that.

Thanks
Bill

It's not a resolution issue, it's a frequency issue.  You're inputting 31KHz to a 15KHz monitor.

Oh ok...thats right. I have SwitchRes on this Mac (kind of like Powerstrip) so I will try a setting for 640x480 at 15khz.

Cheers,
Bill
