Title: Z axis and Xmame
Post by: krisbee on April 06, 2008, 11:03:20 am
I just got a turbotwist2, and I have been able to get it to work on the x axis, but not the z axis.  My mouse also isn't recognized on the z-axis for the wheel in xmame.  Is there a setting I need to enable?  I tried setting by going to the Input (this game) section in the game and move it, but it just doesn't get recognized...

You might try SDLMAME unless you have a good reason to be using xmame.  Our joypad support is pretty nice as of latest.

I couldn't find an early version of it to compile (like 106 or 107)... I looked around the site, but the blog format is pretty tough to navigate when you need old stuff... any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why the early version in particular?  Early SDLMAMEs didn't have the good controller support we do now (much less OpenGL acceleration and all the other goodies).

I was hoping 106, so that way I wouldn't have to convert any artwork files I have... :)

I've tried AdvanceMame (I know not you...), and it had the same issue.

You don't have to convert, you can just download Mr. Do's new-format beauties :)
