Hey Guys,
I just picked up a Golden Tee 2K with a dead monitor that I'm not exactly sure what the model # it is on it.
The sticker on the board says WG1795159, but it looks like the one in Ken Layton's picture labeled K7300. (Also the Jomac pic titled WG/Williams)
I've attached my own pic, not sure how legable the printing will be, but the stickers seem to be in German and/or French.
Anyway, the game powers up and seems to operate ok. The marquee light works and there is 110V AC at the monitor board, the fuse tested good.
I saw a post by Ken where he had a repair guide for the K7300's but I'm not exactly sure I have the right model. If anyone could confirm this before I pester him, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
_)

Can you be more specific about "not working"?
Is there an orange glow in the neck of the tube?
Is there anything at all on the screen?
Some monitors have more than 1 fuse.

yep thats a wells 7302. If it won't power up first thing I would check would be Q601 and the electrolytics around it as this is a common failure with this chassis.

No power at all. Normally I can hear a rectumfryer singing it's super high pitched song, nothing but stone silence on this one.

Nope, nothing
A quick visual inspection, I don't see any popped caps, no burn marks or anything obvious. Only thing I really question is some transparent green stuff that seems to be oozing from the lower control knob on the flyback. You can actually see it in the picture if you look closely. It seems to be solidified, like dried up loc-tite or something.
Thanks for the positive ID and tip on Q601 Sarge!

Big THANKS to Ken!
Monitor is working again.
For the record, there is no Q601, it was actually Q801 that needed to be replaced.
Fired right up, nice and bright.
Still having a minor Horizontal centering issue with the thing.
Have about 1.5" of black on the right side, with the VR cranked all the way over.
Anyone have suggestions for that?

You may want to try pressing sw301 on monitor chassis. This will adjust your picture horizontally.
