Title: Wacko broke wood and scuffs!
Post by: The_Tyler_Black on March 16, 2008, 01:32:00 pm
Hey I bought a wacko cab and there are a few little woodworking things to be done! However, I am not an avid wood worker and would like some help on it. im not sure about the scuffs on the front but if you know about that i would appreciate it. There is also a need for a small amount of
T-molding, but i dont want to buy a whole roll!

Hint 1: Try using the search function in this forum. There are tons of threads about fixing old cabinets, T-molding, Bondo, painting, and everything else you'll need to know to fix your cabinet.

Hint 2: Google is your friend. If you type 'T-molding' into Google, you'll quickly find a place that sells every size and color by the foot.

Hint 3: The sticky threads at the top of the page contain lots of good information. You might want to start with the "water damage" thread...

This is what i did!

Step 1: Use my Ryobi battery powered saw and cut a square out of the corner.

Step 2: Cut one out of wood.

Step 3: Wood Glue it to cab. Then Apply Patch-N-Paint!

Step 4: Sand down to make smooth!

Step 5: Paint! 2 coats!

Tell me what you think!
