I bought an Xbox to Jamma converter board on eBay and it converts the video and sound ok. However, the inputs aren't working. It gets it's power from the Xbox controller ports so I know the wiring is good between the Xbox and the converter. I have it running in a Neo Geo cabinet. Can anyone identify who made this board and what model it is. I want to figure out what the dip switches are for.
Thanks.

Thanks. :) I found some paperwork. The Dipswitches are just for the timed-mode. I turned on time mode and the coin door mechs are working but still no joystick/button input. The paperwork that comes with the unit suggests to cut the ground wires on the end of the jamma harness furthest away from the +5 +12 in preparation to add 3 buttons to each player. I did that with no effect.
Also, this Neo Geo had a J-Pac connected to a PC in it that worked fine.
Thoughts?

I just tried the converter in another standard jamma cab and the same is happening.

Since the end of the Jamma pinout for this adapter replaces ground wires with new buttons, the old ground wires need to be moved to the other side. Once I did this, the buttons started working.

you are running this in a neo geo cab. Its not jamma- thats the problem ! Wiring is different than the jamma standard

Nope. You have to rewire all the ground wires to one side. The Neo Geo / Jamma differences are minimal.
